Atlas Staffing is hiring an Industrial Paint Prepper to prepare fabricated metal parts used in the production of military shelters. This role focuses on liquid spray painting in a manufacturing environment and plays a key role in final product quality. Apply today!
Responsibilities
-
Prepares metal surfaces to be coated using various methods (abrasive blasting, high pressure washing and wire brushing) to remove grease, dirt and rust

Masks areas not to be painted

Hangs and takes parts off of automated overhead conveyors and racks

Follows both visual and written work instructions in order to complete assigned tasks within set time allotted
Qualifications

Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment

Must be able to speak, read and understand English

Ability to work from verbal and written instructions

Operation of small power tools, other hand tools, computerized and high-pressure equipment

Ability and willingness to work overtime when necessary
Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 5:00AM-2:30PM + OT Friday 5:00AM-9:00AM
Wage: $18.00-$18.00/hr.
