Atlas Staffing is hiring a Welder / Assembler for a busy industrial manufacturing operation in Boise, Idaho. This is a hands-on role focused on welding, mechanical assembly, and quality checks for industrial heating products.

Role Purpose

This role is responsible for welding and assembling industrial heating components while maintaining product quality, safe work practices, and steady production flow. It is best suited for someone with welding experience who can also support mechanical and basic electrical assembly tasks in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform TIG and Stick welding on metal components
  • Read blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols
  • Inspect welds to verify quality and accuracy
  • Assemble industrial heating products and related components
  • Attach wiring, heating elements, and other electrical parts during assembly
  • Test components and verify secure connections
  • Complete quality checks including resistance, temperature, and insulation verification
  • Operate and maintain welding equipment and hand tools
  • Follow PPE and shop safety procedures at all times
  • Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean and organized

Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of welding and assembly experience
  • Experience with TIG and/or Stick welding
  • Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
  • Familiarity with steel, stainless steel, titanium, or similar metals
  • Comfortable with mechanical assembly work
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Able to stand for extended periods and work in a manufacturing environment

Pay

$18.00/hr + DOE

Available Shifts

Monday to Friday
8:00am – 4:30pm
